Mariam joined Gide Loyrette Nouel’s Cairo office in January 2018. Prior to joining the firm, she was an intern at Baker & Mckenzie’s Cairo office. Mariam focuses her practice on general corporate matters. She is well-versed in drafting and reviewing contracts, general assembly, and providing legal advice on matters including on competition law and companies law.

 

    • Advised SEMMARIS “Rungis”, a semi-public French company, on the management of existing wholesale markets in Egypt, including the preparation of a full-fledged legal study on wholesale markets and distribution legal framework in Egypt.

    • Advising Majid Al Futtaim on the drafting of litigation reports for labor and civil lawsuits.

    • Advising Thales International Egypt on extraordinary and ordinary general assemblies, commercial contracts and general legal matters.

    • Advising SACE S.P.A. on its establishment and incorporation of its representative office in Egypt, as well as labour and employment matters for foreign employees.
